Who Remembered by Birthday!!
I’m back from what I called a hiatus….. and now im blogging again!
Geez, the eternal question again haunts me…. Who amongst my good and old friends remembered me? I think a person can know how much he/ she is adored by the people who remember his/ her birthday and by the fact that she/ he has touched as many lives as possible.
So going back to the question, who then remembered my birthday? I came up with the list and here’s what I’ve got:
1. Marcy- 12:00 AM, 12/02- she is my soul sistah; my ultimate nemesis but one of my very best friends. Marcy is toughened by love yet softened by me, lol….. I love u Ateng!
2. My supah dupah cool associates from HSBC- Lindon, Bert, Erney, Reman, Kathy, Poch, Aghz, Bing, Jojo, Raymar, Gen and Chan! You guys are sooooo cool… See, they had a cake for me.. Yummy!
3. Nini Lucero- She always remembers everyone’s birthday so thanks thanks a bunch, Nini!
4. Lucy- Wow, I am so touched, nabuhay ka Lucy, hehehehe!
5. Archie aka Assunta- Another pretty face but not so intelligent, so there you are, at least we have same thing in common…..:)
6. Hender & Marie P.- Thanks for calling me guys!
7. Meg, Yong and Jeff- my ever loyal friends from the World’s Local Bank, I couLD have not survived my trying times without you Guys! My gym buddies, mall rats as we are, movie time is never the same without you! They are my best of friends from the office!
8. My Kuya, Dondon- He sent me SMS all the way from Libya… Now, beat that!
9. Apol- I always say I can afford to lose 10 friends but never Apol. He is my bestfriend way back from HS. Funny he saw me as he was in a cab, on the night of my birthday but greeted me a day after. Hope to see you again, APol!
10. Ally- Chance encounter in G4- and thank you for coming and having dinner with us.
11. JB- my Chinese counterpart from HSBC, since I am almost Chinese… Thanks for the wonderful Powerpoint presentation flashed in the plasmas of the 37th.
12. Karen- I went to her party on my birthday… talk about gatecrashing, lol…. No, I was really invited… Swear!
13. Sir Lau- Haven’t seen him for a year, I wonder why… wink.. wink… wink…
14. Mader Sarah- Late greeting but thanks so much, i miss you a lot!!
15. My sister- Tati- I miss everyone back home… My pamangkins- Champ, Ali, Yanna and new baby I have yet to see his face for the very first time, AJ….
16. To all officemates from HSBC- Thanks a lot for remembering my birthday.
17. Katkat- Overseas call from Taiwan, wow that 30- minute conversation was awesome.
18. Egay- I got his email from friendster… Thanks so much, you are simply the best:)
19. OLiver- Talk about resurrection again… just kidding! hehehehe!
20. PAT- One who makes me feel like a true blooded Chekwa, hehehe… He has greeted me even way before my actual birthday… And has always been very good to me. My movie mate, argument mate, my interpreter (I am his interpreter too, lol), and for always buying me peanut butter but has never loved it till now… Thanks for all the intelligent conversations we’ve had… Now, I can’t wait to see Beijing in flesh, hahahha!!!
AND to those whom I have failed to mention but has greeted me in one way or another, sorry for not remembering all of you as I write this, I took too much Advil so forgive me….Hehehehe!!
